An Integrated Multi-criteria Structural Equation Model for Green Supplier Selection

The aims of the current study are to determine criteria be considered in a green supplier selection (GSS) process, develop an integrated decision-making approach using structural equation modelling (SEM) and fuzzy additive ratio assessment (ARAS) techniques rank suitable suppliers, investigate effectiveness this collective decision-making. study’s ultimate objective is propose method created from perspective logic which criterion weights determined SEM resolve challenges such as GSS, compromise solution desired. In first stage study, relevant literature examined detail. Eight main 27 sub-criteria were detected, taking into account classical, green, social (SS) criteria. A questionnaire was administered 254 participants who actively involved SS processes for their companies, data analyzed SEM. second phase, six suppliers evaluated considering found have positive impact on ARAS applied. results showed that factors affecting GSS quality (0.291), responsibility (0.222), service (0.21), cost (0.149) product (0.128). presents effective, objective, fast can used problems prevents potential loss information lack transparency through approach, tested with generalizable framework. proposed hybrid efficient practical many problems, SS.
